This website, p2.ae, is operated by Progress Engineering Equipment Supply FZCO. P2 Industrial is a trading name of Progress Engineering Equipment Supply FZCO, a free-zone company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The “P2” in the brand name derives from “Progress”.

What this site is, and what it is not

This site is a technical reference and a sourcing enquiry point. It publishes specification data for industrial and laboratory equipment and consumables, and it lets you ask us to quote for supplying them. What we source, and the limits of what we are, are described on how we source, and what we are not.

This site is not an online shop. It publishes no prices, no stock levels and no availability, and no order is or can be concluded through the website. If you want to buy something, you request a quotation; we respond within one business day. Any sale that follows is concluded outside the website and is governed by the quotation and its own terms of sale, not by these site terms.

Personal data you submit through the site is handled as described in our privacy policy.

Accuracy and technical data

Where our figures come from

Every specification figure we publish is taken from a named manufacturer document, and the source is cited in visible text next to the data it supports. Where two manufacturer documents disagree, the page says so and names both; where the manufacturer publishes no figure, the page says that too, rather than estimating one. The full method is described in how we verify every figure we publish.

Why you must still confirm them

We take real care over this data, and it is still secondary data. Manufacturers revise specifications without notifying us, and a figure that is correct for one size, diameter, grade or production batch may not hold for another. A published page can therefore be accurate on the day it was written and stale on the day you read it.

Before you rely on any figure for a purchasing, engineering or operating decision, confirm it against the manufacturer’s current documentation. Before you put any product into service, confirm it against the marking and documentation of the item you actually receive.

Safety-critical values

Some values we publish are safety-critical. The clearest example is the maximum operating speed of an abrasive cutting or grinding wheel: exceeding it can cause the wheel to burst, and a bursting wheel can injure or kill. For any safety-critical value — maximum operating speeds, pressure or temperature limits, chemical compatibility, application suitability — the figure on this site is never the figure you act on. The figure you act on is the one marked on the item in your hands and stated in the manufacturer’s current documentation for that exact item. If the marking on the item and a figure on this site disagree, the marking governs, and we ask you to tell us so we can correct the page.

Nothing on this site is a substitute for your own risk assessment, the equipment manufacturer’s instructions, or the standard that applies to your work. Where one of our pages notes that the manufacturer publishes no figure for something, treat that absence as absence — it is not permission to assume a value.

Disagreements between sources

Where our sources disagree with each other, the page discloses the disagreement instead of silently picking a value. In that situation, and in any situation where a value matters to you, ask us to confirm the current figure with the manufacturer as part of your quotation.

The original text on this site, its page structure and its generated technical diagrams are the property of Progress Engineering Equipment Supply FZCO. You may quote short excerpts with attribution and a link to the source page. Reproducing whole pages, or republishing our content by automated means, requires our written permission.

Manufacturer names, product names and trademarks that appear on this site belong to their respective owners. We use them only to identify the products concerned. Their appearance does not imply any affiliation with, or endorsement by, the trademark owner. The specification values themselves are the manufacturers’ published data; what is ours is the verification, compilation and expression of that data.

Acceptable use

You may use this site to read, compare and reference the data it publishes, and to send us enquiries. You may not:

• probe, disrupt or attempt to bypass the security of the site;
• scrape the site at a volume or rate that degrades it for other users;
• present our content as your own, or as the manufacturer’s own publication;
• use the site or its contact channels for unlawful purposes or unsolicited marketing.

Changes to the site and to these terms

We add, revise and remove content as manufacturer documentation changes and as the catalogue grows, without notice. We may also revise these terms. Material changes to these terms are dated at the foot of this page; continued use of the site after a dated change means you accept the revised terms.

Limitation of liability

This site is a free reference, prepared with the care described above and in how we verify every figure we publish. It is not a contractual document, and no statement on it forms part of any contract of sale unless the quotation for that sale expressly repeats it.

To the extent permitted by the applicable law, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from reliance on site content where the confirmation steps set out above were not taken, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the applicable law of the United Arab Emirates. Liability in connection with any actual sale is governed by the terms of that sale, not by these site terms.

Governing law

These terms, and your use of this site, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai.
