P2 Industrial is a trading name of Progress Engineering Equipment Supply FZCO, a free-zone company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The “P2” is short for “Progress”: the brand is a compact form of the legal name, not a separate entity. The name on this site and the name on our registration belong to the same company.

We publish these because they can be checked. A supplier who asks you to send a purchase order should be willing to tell you exactly who they are.
What we do
We source industrial and laboratory equipment and consumables for buyers in the United Arab Emirates and the wider Gulf. The site is a technical reference for the products we can supply: each product page carries the manufacturer’s published data, attributed to the document it came from, so that an engineer can check a figure before committing to it.
We publish no prices, no stock levels and no availability claims. Every enquiry is answered with a written quotation, and we respond within one business day. The request a quotation page explains what to include so the first reply can be a usable offer rather than a round of clarifying questions.
Who we serve
Our catalogue is written for the people who specify and buy this equipment:
- materials-testing and metallography laboratories,
- quality and inspection departments in manufacturing and processing plants,
- procurement teams sourcing technical consumables across the UAE and the Gulf.
If you are deciding between two consumables, the product pages are meant to carry enough attributed data to make that decision on paper. If they do not, tell us what is missing and we will find out from the manufacturer rather than guess.
What the catalogue covers today
The catalogue currently lists 109 products, all of them from Akasel, a Danish manufacturer of metallography and materialography consumables used in materials-preparation laboratories. That is the honest scope right now, and the word all is doing real work in that sentence: this is a one-manufacturer catalogue, not a broad one with gaps. We also source goods we do not publish catalogue pages for — industrial pumps among them — and those are named on how we source, and what we are not rather than dressed up as published product data we do not hold. The catalogue will grow, and every product added to it goes through the same research and attribution process before it is published.
Why the technical pages can be checked
Most supplier websites reproduce manufacturer marketing text. Ours do not. Every figure on a product page is traced to a named manufacturer document, cited in visible text on the page. Where two manufacturer documents disagree, the page says so and names both, instead of silently picking one. Where the manufacturer publishes no figure, the page says that too; we never fill a gap with a plausible number from a similar product. Our relationship with manufacturers
P2 Industrial is an independent supplier. We hold no formal status with the manufacturers whose products we list, and we claim none. We source their products through ordinary commercial channels and quote them to you with the manufacturer’s own published data attached. What that means in practice, and what it rules out, is set out on how we source, and what we are not.
